Ballantine's Blended Malt 12 years old is a complex, richly-flavoured Scotch whisky, with a taste that reflects a deeper, fuller, malt-style character.
Nose: fresh spring flowers, overlaid by strong sweet pears with a trace of orange zest and a hint of marzipan and almonds.
Taste: fresh clean smoothness balanced by a soft sweet overlay of orange, cinnamon and ginger.
Colour: deep honey gold.
Character & body: fresh, soft and nutty. Round and lively.
Finish: medium length, soft sweet centre in a clean, nutty dryness.
