Tasting notes by Christophe J. Fillioux, the cellar master:

This Grande Champagne Cognac was harvested and distilled a long time ago, and was matured in a cool damp cellar, in a loose grain medium toasted French Oak Cask. This nose is apppealing with floral fragrances like acacia, orange blossom and honeysuckle but also ripe plum. On the palate years of ageing have delivered smooth aromas of cinnamon, almonds, marmalade and dried figs. Impressive long finish with spicy notes and yet a lovely softness coming through.
