This Single Blend - where both malt and grain whiskies are produced at the same distillery - is a truly individual product. Ben Nevis produced both style of whisky for a very brief period that lasted only from the distillery's inception in 1955 until 1981. Very unusually, the 1970 vintage were blended together before being filled into cask, marrying in the wood for over four decades.
