Annandale Rare Vintage 2014 Man O' Words Cask 145
Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In 2014 Annandale produced 103 casks of unpeated Man O’ Words. A small number of these casks were bottled at just over 3 years of age, capturing that never-to-be-repeated moment in time when the first of Annandale’s spirit transitioned into Single Malt Scotch Whisky. You can become one of very few Scotch Whisky lovers to own a bottle of Annandale Distillery’s first unpeated Single Malt, ever!
Tasting Notes:
Clean and sweet initially with mixed fruit, apple sauce and traces of nectarine and melon. This gives way to creamy vanilla and a florist shop of fresh flowers and green leaves. All is held together with an underlying earthy, pine-like note. The finish gives green apples, honey and cream with a dry resinous note.
A lovely fresh whisky with excellent balance between fruit and vanilla, and intriguing depth.
