Colour: Stunning amber with topaz highlights

Body: Fresh rich super smooth 

Aromas: Beautiful notes of vanilla red fruit from both the bourbon and sherry cask provide an intriguing overture that one seld om finds in a Speyside youngster. Little hints of wild honey creme brûlée mingled beautifully with the spiciness from the bourbon cask and together with the Oloroso it becomes a spirit that is intriguing as the two oaks merge into a very unusual spiritua l harmony. At 58% it requires reduction to reveal light notes of hazelnuts toasted almonds, barley sugar, cinnamon and a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Palate: On the palate the crispness of the malted barley brings balance to a most intriguing spirit, well distilled as one would expect from one of Speysides' best Distillers.

Finish: The finish can be best appreciated more with that splash of water you added for the nosing.
