Named after a famously dark, peaty loch overlooked by the distillery, the Loch Gorm 2022 Edition was matured in oloroso sherry butts previously used by Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin for a minimum of eight years. The 22 casks selected by Kilchoman Founder Anthony Wills are a combination of 20 fresh and 2 refill casks. The sherry soaked oak adds layers of rich fruity character which balance beautifully with classic Kilchoman peat smoke and citrus flavours.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Fresh maritime smoke, dried raisins, toasted orange peel and cloves. 

Palate: Rich dark chocolate, mixed spices and dried fruits accompanied by subtle warming peat smoke, sweet tobacco, roasted walnuts and hints of caramel.

Finish: Long and evolving with cinnamon spice, fresh fruits and integrated peat smoke.
