Casado (Portugese for marriage) was matured in fresh bourbon barrels for 6 years before 38 casks were selected and married together for 2 years in two 6,000 litre Portugese red wine vats.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Ripe summer fruits and a touch of marzipan with layers of martitime notes.

Palate: Pepper and spicy with a fresh fruit and salty peat smoke.

Finish: Waves of hot spicy character with cooked fruits and lasting sweetness.
