Grapes Varieties: Tinta Roriz, Castelão, Syrah and Alicante Bouschet
Colour: Dark red ruby colour
Vinification: The grape varieties were harvested separately; total destemming of the grapes was perfomed. After 2 days of cold maceration with skin contact, the fermentation at controlled temperature of 23ºC was performed. The malolatic fermentation was then initiated and the wine aged in stainless steel vats until the final batch was prepared. The wine was filtered before being bottled.
Nose: Clean, strong ripe fruit and oak aromas.
Palate: Full and round bodied with smooth tannins.
Tasting Note: Lingering finish and pleasant.
Gastronomy: Serve at 16-18ºC. Recommended for white meat dishes, sausages and cheese.
