Vinhos Barbeito was founded in 1946 by Mário Barbeito de Vasconcelos. With this DOP Madeirense this producer started another adventure in his long journey of winemaking.

Over the past 4 years Vinhos Barbeito has requalified and prepared its Verdelho vineyards, located in Raposeira (south coast) and, in 2017, it began to produce grapes with the perfect character to create the blending structure. From the north coast (São Vicente and Seixal) it chose grapes from vineyards of Verdelho and Sercial which originated wines that added the freshness and the acidity that so much is being appreciated.
