Cask #16-2902. To celebrate La Maison du Whisky turning 60, the master blender at the Jack Daniels distillery selected ten casks with a view to bottling each separately. This fascinating olfactory and gustatory voyage through the warehouses of America’s most famous distillery resulted in not one but ten entirely different expressions of this Tennessee Whiskey filtered through maple charcoal and revered around the world.

Profile: powerful, the nose sways between ripe fruit, spices and precious wood. It becomes increasingly gourmand, reminiscent of an apricot tart. The palate is very well-balanced, exotic and balsamic. Red and black fruit also arrive on the scene. The finish is peppery and toasted.
