Colour: Pomegranate red

Nose: Classic Speyside aromas of sweet barley, American and Spanish oaks make this a unique beautifully distille d spirit. The red fruit overture is a thing of beauty and leads into a fruity/vanilla style single cask spirit which is really unusual. The aromatics are outstanding making this an olfactory winner.

It’s all there; the red fruit of the grapes, the mellowness of the oak and the texture like silk thanks to quality distillation. The extract from the malt sugar, the natural oils fro the middle cut ensure the texture and taste are in total harmony and together they create a spirit that tastes more mature than one would expect from that age. 

Taste: At 58% it’s way too strong to appreciate all the flavours on offer. Add water to suit your palate and your prayers will be answered. It’s a spirit that remains as one of Scotlands’ least known but most respected by all the industry.
