Tasting notes:

Colour: Shiny brownish gold with handsome coppery highlights.

Nose: Dense, with rancio, walnut and hazelnut notes, wax and elegant tannins showing ageing in high quality barrels.

Palate: Naturally rounded and powerful for a Fins Bois. Fine, complex tannins. Interesting combination of nutmeg and licorice notes.

Overall: A very good Fins Bois from a vintage that was often difficult, with cool weather.
